Warframe is a free-to-play action role-playing third-person shooter multiplayer
online game developed and published by Digital Extremes. The games motto is "Ninjas Play Free" since warframe is free for everyone.
Starting off with Warframe is the warframes. A warframe is an advanced weapons system used
exclusively by the Tenno in their missions throughout the Solar System. The Warframes possess
regenerative shields, greatly enhanced mobility, and the use of an array of supernatural abilities.
The first warframe of the 3 starter warframes is Excalibur. Excalibur is a sword based warframe and his abilities
are centered around his sword Exalted Blade which is an ethereal sword he can create.
One of Excalibur's many skins, The Proto Armor skin looks similar to the armor of another character,
Hayden Tenno from one of Digital Extreme's previous game, Dark Sector. Excalibur is the only warframe with 4 variants, Excalibur, Excalibur Prime which can no longer be aquired, Excalibur Umbra and, Excalibur Umbra Prime
for The Chinese Founders-pack.
The second starter warframe is Mag. Mag's abilities is based off of magnetism. She can pull enemies towards her or
crush them with her abilities.
Mag has an alternate helmet called the Mag Gauss helmet named after the Gauss projectile accelerator consisting of one
or more coils used as linear electromagnets to accelerate a magnetic or conducting projectile to high velocity. There is also
another warframe named Gauss who has an alternate helmet called the Gauss Mag helmet.
The last starter warframe is Volt. Volt is based off of electricity. His ablilites can shock opponents or protect allies from them.
In update 7 for the game Volt was replaced by Mag so then the starter warframes were Excalibur, Mag and Loki.
But in update 14 Loki was replaced with Volt and hes been there since.
